The Willows has had a complete refurbishment in 2021, transforming the property into a stunning holiday home. As you enter the property you will start to see the quality of the work that has been done. Set to the front of the property is a utility entrance which lead to the main hall, here you past the two spacious and tastefully decorated bedrooms complete with wardrobes and draw storage space. Opposite the bedrooms are the two superbly finished shower rooms which create the feeling of having an en-suite to each bedroom. You then enter into the main attraction of the open plan living space. This is a superb space for the family to enjoy with the modern fitted kitchen, the living room has cosy sofas and the wood burner perfect for the cool of winter evenings. Set at the rear of the property is a large conservatory with a dining table perfect for evening meals, this is also south facing getting a lot of sun through the summer perfect to relax in after a day at the beach. Double doors open to the private rear courtyard with table chairs and the barbecue, again great for entertaining or sun bathing.
Willow is located in the lovely village of St Mawes in Cornwall, a small fishing village nestled at the end of the Roseland Peninsula. St Mawes is a lovely place to visit and an even better place to live, with a strong community spirit. Surrounded by the sea and gentle hills, St Mawes is quite spectacular! There are a good number of pubs on the Roseland most of which serve food. St Mawes has two pubs although the St Mawes hotel is more of a pub/bar than it is a hotel. St Mawes and other villages on the Roseland such as Portloe, Portscatho and Portholland have to be some of the most exclusive waterside villages within Cornwall with plenty of activities. Being positioned within the gulf stream, the climate in St Mawes and on the Roseland Peninsula is very mild all year round. During the summer temperatures can reach that of the Mediterranean and as a result, there are beautiful local gardens throughout the Roseland with exquisite fauna and flora.
