Gull Cottage - Facilities

Gull Cottage is perfectly situated at the end of a short track which is next to a footpath which leads down to the village in a matter of minutes. The views from the house and garden are stunning. There is a rare feeling of seclusion and privacy whilst at the same time being so close to the village centre. The grandstand views make it easy to spend all day just watching all the activity on the water and in the village. The Cottage has been extended and refurbished to a very high standard with great care taken to ensure that the unique character of the house is retained and it harnesses the latest solar technology to improve its eco-credentials.
The house is arranged over three floors accessed via two half landings. On the second floor there is a spacious zip and link twin bedroom with panoramic views stretching from Place to St Mawes castle. There is also a large sitting area with a TV, DVD player and a small library. Down a few steps on the upper half landing is a modern shower room. On the first floor there are two bedrooms both with en-suite facilities and far-reaching views out to sea. The master bedroom has a super kingsize bed and en-suite bath and shower, it also benefits from a wide covered balcony with armchairs for relaxing. The second bedroom has a zip-and-link super- kingsize bed which can be reconfigured on request as a twin bedroom, it has en-suite shower facilities and magnificent views. On the half-landing there is a family bathroom with a shoer over bath and at the end of the corridor is the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. On the ground floor the living/kitchen/conservatory are arranged in an open plan format with a dining table in the conservatory. The kitchen has an electric Aga and is very well-equipped for those who enjoy cooking whilst on holiday. The living room has three comfortable sofas a modern wood burner, piano and a large Smart TV and DVD player. The conservatory with dining room table opens onto the stunning granite paved terrace with garden furniture and a log shed. The well-stocked terraced garden is delightful with each area having a different view over St Mawes village and out to sea. Steps and stone paths connect the areas and there are two well-covered ponds and a private lawned garden on the lower level.
