Verbena Cottage is a charming 18th century cottage sympathetically renovated and extended, offering everything that is required for a relaxing holiday.
Set back from the road, the property is approached through a small pretty front garden with an off- road parking space to the left hand side.

Stepping in through the front door you immediately feel the charm of the cottage with the character but modern style kitchen. Moving from the kitchen, you enter a large and exciting family room with three defined areas complete with modern furnishings, with a breakfast area close to the kitchen. There is a comfortable and spacious lounge area with sofas and Smart TV, then a further dining area at the rear which benefits from the large windows providing views over the gardens and patios at the rear of the property. From this area a door leads through to a downstairs shower and toilet. There is also access to the utility room and storage area which runs from the front of the house with a door giving access to the parking area through to the back patio area. In this room there is a washing machine, a small Belfast sink, rotary washing line and standing airer provided. This is also ideal for bringing in wet dogs or to dry wetsuits or outdoor wear.

Arranged to the first floor are three bedrooms. Set to the front of the property is a lovely bright twin bedroom and an ample double bedroom with a modern shower room in between. At the rear of the property is another double bedroom which has expansive views over the countryside. There is also a second separate modern family bathroom. To the rear of the property is a pretty family garden with a patio area side sun terrace lawn with private hedging and flower beds. There are outbuilding with owner access only. There is also a cottage garden at the front of the property.

Considered to be one of the prettiest of all the Roseland villages, Veryan has the famous Round Houses together with the attractive water gardens, church, pub, school and general Stores/Post Office which caters for day-to-day needs. Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Veryan and the surroundings countryside is noted for its breathtaking coastal scenery, lovely country walks and the popular sandy beaches of Carne and Pendower which are just over one mile.

The traditional fishing village of Portloe with dramatic coastal path around the Jacka is less than two miles away. There is also a regular bus service to the cathedral city of Truro some twelve miles, which has a wider selection of commercial and retail facilities. The popular sailing resort of St. Mawes approximately eight miles from Veryan offers a wider selection of shops, banks and restaurants, together with a regular passenger ferry service to the port of Falmouth.
