Access to Powder Cottage is from where you park your car. There are some steep wooden steps down and then a short path taking you to the front door of the cottage. There is slight incline as you come down to the cottage. Arrangements can be made for direct access to the cottage should mobility be an issue. Outside the cottage has a small patio area with a range of garden furniture, barbecue and a pleasant mature garden with some terracing to give areas of lawn. Ruan Lanihorne is a delightful hamlet with its well known local pub which has an award winning restaurant and a village church. Local shops can be found in the nearby village of Tregony, Ruan Lanihorne is about 4 miles from Pendower and Carne Beaches and the pretty fishing villages of Portloe, Portscatho and St Mawes are a short drive away.
