This 160 year old fisherman’s cottage provides wonderful views over the fully working fishing harbour in Cornwall, where you will find a variety of interesting shops, pubs and restaurants. Fishing and boat trips can also be enjoyed during the season. To the south west lies Hemmick Beach, an excellent swimming spot with rocky outcrops ideal for sunbathing. A short drive will take you to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Shops and pubs 30 yards.
Lovely place beautiful views. Beds let it down. The mattresses very thin and uncomfortable. Toilet seat broken, and shower over bath useless. But on the whole great holiday.
Right in the middle of the village, lovely house and views. Everything our family needed and all thoughtfully done. Choice of excellent pubs, chippies and ice cream on your doorstep. Free car parking is a short distance away, but that's what you get for being right in the centre of things, and we managed just fine.
Fabulous cottage location. Cottage was lovely, clean with great views. It was a bit noisy between floors so got woken up just by movement and toilets flushing etc. Not a big problem but worth bearing in mind if you are a light sleeper looking for a good rest. Good amenities and lovely welcome pack. Would definitely rebook.
Lovely position, well equipped and great views.King sized bed very comfortable but very noisey, could do with tightening up probably.Would book again.
We have stayed at Harbour Heights several times before. It's a lovely cottage at a great location on the harbour front of a wonderful village. We will almost certainly return, but if we do, we'll hope the new king size bed has been given a different mattress, as we found it incredibly uncomfortable!!! This is the only complaint, though.
Our stay September, 2019
The cottage has outstanding views , personally I would change the mattress in the main bedroom , and in this day and age who doesn’t have wi fi ? Only other slight thing if we are instructed to put rubbish in seagull proof bag please supply one . Have noted for next year it’s over 200 pounds more expensive, .. so will wait and see all said a very enjoyable week thank you .
