This delightful, detached, 16th century country holiday cottage is the perfect antidote to stressful living. With its slate flooring and beamed ceilings, it has been decorated and furnished in a traditional cottage style and the pretty lawned gardens and games room make this the perfect choice for young and old at any time of year. There are many paths and woodland walks in the area or explore the rugged cliffs, hidden coves and thundering surf for which the nearby coast is famous for. Bude, with its restaurants and shops, sandy beaches, splash pool and excellent golf links is just 4 miles away. The picturesque fishing villages of Tintagel, Rock and Padstow are close by and the wild beauty of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moors are within easy driving distance, as is the famous Eden Project. Horse riding is within 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Clean, cosy and very comfortable. Well set up for families with a games/play room that was a life saver on rainy days. Owners were lovely and helpful. Setting was serene and beautiful. Cottage was full of character. Loved our stay!

Lovely cottage! Owners were very welcoming after a long drive. The only suggestion we have is to put a couple of blankets & lamps in the living room to make a little more cosy. We have and will definitely always reccomend a stay here! Thank you for a lovely week

Great cottage in a good location, owners very friendly. No local amenities but we knew that before we booked, and Bude isn't far anyway for supermarkets. We were very lucky with the weather too, sunny every day. I would certainly recommend this cottage if your looking for a quiet, stress free holiday.

Lovely cottage, v secluded, we were nude there most of the time, safe to wander outside if it had been summer. Owners friendly on the phone didn't intrude but were there if needed
