Located just a few miles from the lovely town of Bude, famous for surfing and golden beaches, Pear Tree Cottage is the ideal base from which to explore the north west coast of Cornwall. One mile from the cottage is Black Rock Beach, with amazing geological rock formations, rock pools at low tide and soft sand for your four-legged friends to enjoy. Bude has many amenities, cafés, restaurants and gift shops. Visit Crackington Haven with its beautiful beach flanked by rising cliffs affording plenty of walks boasting breathtaking vistas. Tintagel, forever linked to the legend of King Arthur with its castle of two halves, lies a short distance away. The castle footbridge, a Yes masterpiece of engineering, is a must visit. This part of the coast has many historical tales of smuggling due to the many inlets and coves to explore! Beautiful Boscastle, with its quaint cottages and harbour, popular Port Isaac, made famous by a popular TV series ’Doc Martin’, are all within a short distance.
Pear Tree Cottage has an excellent open plan kitchen, dining area and living space. The kitchen is superbly equipped, whilst the living area, with its comfortable sofa and chairs, will be a welcome refuge to relax after a busy day of adventures. A lovely conservatory where you can enjoy breakfast as you plan your day is complemented by a private lawned area with wooden furniture. There are three bedrooms; bedroom 1 has a wonderful double bed with en-suite facilities whilst the second and third bedrooms have twin beds and plenty of storage space in each. The family bathroom offers both a bath with an electric shower over.
