Elsie’s Shepherds Hut is snuggled into the breathtaking countryside where walks, beaches and coves are all within easy reach. Elsie’s Hut has been superbly well thought out to make the most use of the space, with great little touches to make you feel welcome and at home. The owner’s wonderful hens roam free nearby, whilst the lake hosts ducks and geese too. There is a superb white barn owl nearby, and you may catch a glimpse as you look to the stars at night, providing one of the clearest views of galaxies, constellations and shooting stars in the country. By day, the nearby seaside town of Bude offers amenities, restaurants, shops and beaches whilst to the north you will find the Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast, where the immense Atlantic Ocean pounds the rugged coastline. Many a shipwreck lay here, and the scenery is stunning. The beaches of Summerleaze and Trebarwith offer sand, sea and surf whilst at Widemouth Bay, even when busy, you feel a sense of peace and space. The stunning expanse of Widemouth Bay beach is 10 minutes’ drive and the scenic beach of Crackington Haven, flanked by impressive cliffs is 3 miles away. Elsie’s Hut will provide you with the perfect getaway, to explore, relax and unwind, whatever the weather, and in comfort!
