Perfect for couples or a small family looking for a rural and peaceful spot away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, yet close to the amazing North Cornish coastline. The two semi-detached barns, converted from original stone farm buildings, are located on a working farm in the midst of rural North Cornwall, close to the little village of Jacobstow. The picturesque seaside village of Crackington is 4 miles away and Davidstow, where the well known cheese originates, is 7 miles away. The A39 Atlantic Highway is nearby making this a perfect location for exploring this dramatic coastline. There are many interesting places to visit, including the seaside resort of Bude, the village of Boscastle, Tintagel, the legendary home of King Arthur and Port Isaac where Doc Martin is filmed. There are many fabulous beaches for swimming, surfing and building sandcastles. Each cottage has a rear sitting-out area with garden furniture. They both have full oil central heating and the granary has a lovely wood burner in the living room, making them ideal for holidays throughout the year. Beach 3½ miles. Shop and pub/restaurant ½ mile.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 6 guests.
Warm cosy cottage in lovely surroundings on the farm. Ideal for a couple seeking a countryside retreat.
A spacious, warm, clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Easy access to A39 in a rural peaceful setting. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. We do hope to return in the future.
We were welcomed with a cream tea. Very quite considering the cottage is on a farm. Ada and Russell are a lovely couple who own the place. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Pretty much central for Bude, Tintagel Castle, Port Isaac and Boscastle.
Nice quiet stay with a welcoming cream tea. Lovely clean cottage and nice and friendly hosts.
Excellent few days staying at Beckaveans Stable. Great location to explore Cornwall. Cosy cottage and cream tea on arrival was lovely. 🙂
A lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need.
The cottage was lovely, comfortable and well equipped and the position within easy reach of the many beautiful beaches of Bude. Ada and Russell were delightful hosts and we were able to walk across their fields and enjoy their beautiful wildlife pond.
Excellent reception from owners including cream tea on arrival. Cottage immaculate. Ideal location for touring north Cornish coast. Only downside was poor internet and phone signal in that area.
Lovely stay here. Great location on the farm, so quiet and relaxing. An hour walk to the coast at Crackington Haven, and a short drive to Port Isaac, Boscastle, Bude, Tintagel...even Padstow.
