This large, Grade II listed farmhouse is tucked away at the end of a long track and has extensive views over the surrounding open countryside. Set in its own grounds, with room for ball games, barbecues and relaxing, this friendly house provides spacious accommodation for up to 19 guests and has many character features including wood burner and two staircases. The big kitchen serves as a hub of activities and is well-equipped to cater for large parties, the dining room table is large enough for everyone to enjoy a celebratory feast. The living room has a feature fireplace and a large flat screen TV. A second living room with a large flat screen TV doubles as the games room. The house is well placed for easy access to the rugged north coast and beaches around Bude, and many other attractions are all within easy reach. For walkers, the moors and coastal path are a short drive. Golf, horse riding and historic Launceston with its Norman castle and steam railway are all within 5 miles. Shop 5 miles, pub 3 miles.

Excellent house with good facilities which suited the whole family. There were only 2 areas for improvement a) the drive which was extremely bumpy and b) the need to purchase wood for the wood fire which does not cost much, but means that you have to plan for your usage. The

Had a great time celebrating my husband’s 50th, great room combinations and everything we needed. Dining room perfect and the Elliot arms is a great pub.? We last visited 6 years ago, some great improvements and it felt like coming home

We've just returned from an awesome weeks holiday. Everything has been thought of, we didn't want for anything. Everywhere was extremely clean, plenty of room, plenty of storage. I would like to comment that you do have to go down a very narrow lane to get to it.

A great stay for the extended family. Some of the rooms needed jigging as cousins wanted to share rooms with each other and not with their parents but plenty of spare beds and bedding to go round. Good kitchen, needs a few non stick pans for frying eggs for b’ fast. WiFi variable strength. Central location 30 mins to Bude, Tintagel, Padstow etc. Good play room which the kids enjoyed.

It was the perfect weekend away in the countryside. Close enough to amenities without loosing any of the of the country feel. The farmhouse was just what our party of 10 needed to escape. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home from home experience. Plenty of room and equipment :) a great way for us as a very big family to all get together! Very friendly and more than helpful, we will defiantly be visiting again. We also took are dog who was in heaven with garden space

A very lovely spacious farmhouse with plenty of room who the whole extended family including 3 children and 3 dogs! The living areas were spacious and we didn’t all feel like we were on top of each other as plenty of places for people to be. The kitchen was very well equipped and had plenty of everything we needed included enormous fridge and oven. The bathrooms were lovely and fanstatic showers. Also continuous supply of hot water. Which was fabulous Generally the house was warm and cosy and we loved our time here The only real downside was the beds. They were pretty uncomfortable. But otherwise we would highly recommend coming to stay here! Thank you
