Bowji is annex attached to the owner’s home, with your own front access with plenty of parking for both car and trailer. The accommodation includes a good-sized sunroom/conservatory that is perfect for dining in or just relaxing, a kitchen, one double and one single bedroom and a bathroom. Access to the garden and private patio is via the conservatory. The garden is shared with the owners.
This is an excellent, peaceful location, dogs are always welcome and the area is popular with walkers, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts, it has sailing, kite surfing, water sports, cycle trails, golf or you can simply relax on beautiful beaches. At the end of the road is a rugged path leading to a sandy cove, just 5 minutes away. Sub-tropical gardens including Trebah, Durgan, Trelissike and a plethora of National Trust properties including St Michaels Mount at Marazion can be reached easily, and there is a main bus route at the end of the road if you don’t feel like driving. The Lizard Peninsula is the most southerly point in the UK with Coverack beach, Mullion Cove and harbour, and the beautiful beach at Kynance Cove.
The historic town of Helston famous for its May Flora Day, Flambard’s theme park and RNAS Culdrose air station are all just a short drive away. Falmouth, with its prestigious marinas and harbours, has a stunning array of restaurants, cafés, shops, and galleries. The National Maritime Museum, Events Square and Pendennis Castle are open to the public daily with activities throughout the year. You can take a boat trip along the Carrick Waters to a smuggler’s cottage or hop on the ferry to St Mawes and visit the castle there. Take one of the ferry services to explore the scenic Helford River and wildlife including basking sharks, dolphins, seals, and bird life. Visit the Gweek Seal Sanctuary which is home to rescue seals from around the Cornish coastline. Praa Sands has a beautiful beach and Porthlevean is a small harbour town just ½ mile away with bars and restaurants.
Padstow, St Ives, Looe, Port Isacc, Polperro, The Roseland Penisula and Lands End are all within easy reach by car, as well as the world-famous Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
