A traditional mid-terrace Cornish cottage superbly located in Par, a village in the South of Cornwall, with excellent road and rail links, minutes from the nearest of many stunning beaches in the area and the hugely popular South-West Coast Path, revealing breath taking vistas and both beautiful and dramatic coastline, some 13 miles East to the historic fishing village of Polperro, with its legendary links to smuggling, cobbles streets and huddles cottages.
At low tide the beaches here provide the perfect reason to discover the caves and countless inlets. Dog friendly Par Beach itself is dog friendly all year round and is located at the edge of ‘clay country’, looking West to the china clay works. Nearby, the famous town of St Austell, has many amenities, cafes and restaurants and hosts the superb Whael Martyn Museum, an illuminating insight into 200 years of mining in this historic area. Travel 2 miles to the world-famous Eden Project, a unique experience where the world’s largest indoor rainforest can be explored under state-of-the-art Biomes. Here you can meander through lush green woodland to Luxulyan Valley, a designated World Heritage Site, with it’s many least and old tramway paths a reminder of its once vibrant industrial past. The railway station is less than a mile for the cottage, where you can journey to Newquay, Plymouth or Penzance and begin a whole new adventure!
