Set within its own rural idyll, Valley View Cottage is a contemporary, luxurious detached barn conversion, furnished to the highest standards. It offers guests privacy, delightful open countryside views and easy access to the stunning north coast of Cornwall. This gorgeous property is perfect for two couples, or small families, and will provide a delightfully relaxing holiday. The open-plan living area has been designed with comfort in mind, with oak floors, underfloor heating, a beautiful Aga and a Caesar stone-fitted kitchen which has everything an enthusiastic chef could wish for, from a steam oven to a wine chiller and induction hob. There is a light and airy feel in the living area with large patio doors which offer views across the open countryside. Both bedrooms boast an ensuite bathroom or shower room along with a shower/bath seat too, and will delight the most discerning guest. You are ideally situated to visit the many attractions Cornwall has to offer being equidistant between both the north and south coasts. The lovely fishing village of Padstow with its array of superb restaurants is only seven miles distant, as is a good selection of some of Cornwall’s finest sandy beaches, making this a really perfect holiday destination. Visit Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, and Boscastle. Also within easy reach is The Eden Project, a must to visit, and the many sandy surfing beaches along the north coast of Cornwall. Beach 7 miles. Shop and pub 4 miles, restaurant 5 miles.

We had a most relaxing holiday in an outstanding location in a cottage that provided lovely, cosy ,yet spacious, well equipped accommodation. Low rating for local amenities but wadebridge and padstow close and we chose Valley View for its remoteness, and were not disappointed. Lovely to watch the deer every morning and the robin in the field joining the garden. Loved the aga. It kept us very cosy. Definitely recommend. Thank you to Karen for keeping everything so clean.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Valley View Cottage but several things let it down; initial impressions were a dusty kitchen with dirty oven and only 1 towel each for a weeks stay. On the plus side the sky tv package was great and the space outside was fabulous with lovely views. This was our first time staying in a 5 star rated cottage and unfortunately we expected more.

We were really impressed with Valley View Cottage. It was very comfortable and welcoming. The location was stunning. The Cottage had everything one would need. The welcoming pack of Wine, Cream Tea and flowers was very acceptable. Karen the Housekeeper was very helpful when I had occasion to ring her. We wouldn't hesitate in returning.

We enjoyed valley view cottage but found the king sized bed very uncomfortable. It is very rural but that is part of its charm. The views are exceptional.

Great very comfortable and clean plenty of equipment for cooking Struggled with Aga by the end of holiday got used to it. You definitely need a car as it is a bit off the beaten track and no local shops. Beautiful garden with lovely views, would definitely go back.

Excellent property with a range of quality equipment, stunning kitchen and comfortable arrangement for 4 people at the dining table or in the lounge. Bedrooms well equipped but note the decent shower is in the twin bed room whereas the master on-suite has a shower in the bath. Underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs keep the house warm when required and plenty of hot water. Mobile signal good, wi-fi a little slow full Sky TV package. It is totally private outside with wide ranging views. House is in the countryside so is very quiet and there are no local shops or pubs within walking distance but Wadebridge about 8 miles away has a large Tesco's and Padstow is another few miles for the quintessential cornish coastal location. In March 2019 some new owners bought the property.

Had a great time at Valley View. Was in a great location and there was lots of wildlife on the doorstep. The aga was great and the kitchen was fully equipped for people like us who like to cook! The Sky films kept our son entertained and the bath was welcome after long walks and body boarding
