Set in rolling Cornish countryside, yet only 2 miles from the historic town of Bodmin, this holiday home has been converted from the old stables and adjoins the owner’s home. Thoughtfully furnished, it enjoys a patio and garden to the front. Within easy reach is the historic jail at Bodmin, the Eden Project and Bodmin Moor which is unspoilt moorland at its best. Also within easy reach is Lanhydrock House, or take the steam train from Bodmin to Wenford Bridge. Hire a bike and cycle the Camel Trail, which leads to the market town of Wadebridge and beyond to Padstow. The property is well placed to visit the attractions on both the south and north coasts of Cornwall including Looe, Polperro, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel. Shops and pub 2 miles.
Excellent cottage, really well equipped with friendly owners, and a real on-the-farm place. Felt like a really rural location but in easy reach of the town of Bodmin
A relaxing and picturesque setting and a comfortable and clean home from home.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Stables and we highly recommend it. The cottage is clean and comfortable, nicely furnished and very well equipped. The owners were very friendly and supplied a welcome pack on our arrival. Bodmin is a lovely town and well placed to explore both the north and south coasts of this part of Cornwall.
