Hire a bicycle in town and follow the famous Camel Trail to the vibrant town of Wadebridge and then onto Padstow, with its busy harbour, famed for its inviting narrow streets, galleries, boutique shops and of course renowned seafood restaurants. The beaches on the North Coast are breathtaking, particularly for watersports of all types and the stretches of golden sand just seem to go on forever.

Once inside, your open plan living space provides an excellent standard of accommodation. Whilst compact, there is basic kitchen equipment, a sumptuous double bed, sofa and excellent quality TV. There is a shower room with a superb shower, sink and toilet. Off road parking is available 30 yards away at the rear of another property belonging to the owner.

The main pedestrian area with shops is just a 5-minute walk away and the town has a post office, chemist and no less than five major supermarkets. The beach at Par Sands to the South is a 25-minute drive and close to the town of St Austell, great for an afternoon of shopping and at the heart of what was once a thriving mining area, many reminders of which punctuate the landscape. There is a fascinating museum on the town outskirts taking you though the history of the area. Visit Charlestown, the quayside that has been the setting for many films and TV series, with its fleet of tall ships, or east along the coast to Looe and Polperro, both enchanting harbour towns with a dark history of smuggling and countless tales of wrecking, once so prevalent hereabouts.
