Built and designed by the owners, these two adjoining holiday cottages have been thoughtfully furnished and equipped to a good standard. Each boasts its own enclosed garden with patio and has a countryside backdrop. With oak floors and furniture, and TVs in all bedrooms, these holiday cottages have a contemporary feel but with the charm and style of a cottage. Just 2 miles from the market of Camelford with its shops and pubs and just a few miles from the north coast, these cottages are ideally situated to visit Bude, Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur or Port Isaac, where the TV series Doc Martin is filmed. Visit Padstow, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants, and Newquay with its famous surfing beaches and zoo, or go inland to Bodmin Moor, The Eden Project and also the many gardens of the south coast. Shops 2 miles, pub 1½ miles.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Family and dog friendly. Extremely comfortable and lovely welcome pack.
Really nice cottage, well kitted out and maintained, with a private field at the back that our dog absolutely loved. The owner greeted us on arrival and was very accommodating. The location is perfect for getting out and around Cornwall, and the local chippy is one of the best I've ever been to!
Lovely house a real home from home. Jane made us really welcome and a lot of thought gone into our welcome pack. Will defiantly visit again
Lovely comfy cottage. Well placed to visit lots of Cornwall. Quiet even though on main road. Enjoyed the rabbit and her babies running round in the garden
Lovely cottage - very spacious and well-equipped with good garden and dog friendly! Owners on hand if needed (which they weren’t). Easy journey to get to in and within near distance of shops, beaches, pubs etc.
Wonderfully welcoming cottage in a central location for lots of local towns. Very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Only downside for us was having to drive everywhere due to location but that wouldn’t stop us from visiting again.
A great cottage as a base for exploring north Cornwall - Port Isaac (Port Wenn), Tintagel, Boscastle, Padstow & Camel Trail etc. The garden and field behind is great for dogs. The Port William at Trebarwith Strand is dog friendly with a varied menu.
Great location & cottage/house was warm & clean. Access to field/paddock behind a real bonus for visiting dogs.
We had a fantastic time in this well presented and very clean cosy home. The only slight negative was that the internet wasn’t working for most of our stay, which was not ideal. The owner did liaise with us on this but couldn’t fix it during our stay. Overall we had a great time.
Our stay November, 2019
Lovely spacious and well equipped, great for dogs with the enclosed field. Location is great for touring, however cant walk to shops or pub but no major problem. Owners very welcoming and helpful and nice welcome pack! Many thanks we would love to return.
