Fleur Cottage is a traditional two-bedroom cottage, you can park to unload but will need to park on one of the side roads or there is free on-road parking available between the hours of 4pm–9am, although there is additional paid parking in Cornwall Councils car park just a few minutes’ walk away with weekly tickets available.
The property has wooden flooring downstairs with carpet upstairs and in the downstairs bathroom you have underfloor heating! This property is a great base to explore West Cornwall visit the attractions and enjoy the quieter pace of life whether you are a keen suffer, diver, bird watcher, walker the list goes on there is something for everyone. Not forgetting our four-legged friend, there are plenty of dog friendly beaches Carne Beach, which is quieter even at peak season, Portholland beach is made up of tea sandy beaches which merge into one at low tide. Why not visit Trebah gardens is in Mawnan Smith, it is a sub-tropical paradise voted one of the finest 80 gardens in the country with a stunning coastal beach which is also dog friendly. Gyllyngvase is the most popular with its large sandy beach and clear sea, Lifeguards are on patrol between May and September, and you will find a variety of water sports available.
Adjacent is the beach Café offering a selection of hot and cold refreshments and a choice of tasty snacks and lunches. There is also a beautiful garden and some amazing coastal walks, from here you can follow the footpath and admire the rugged views and wildlife on your way to Maenporth and Swanpool beach. Swanpool has an excellent water sports centre where you can hire a kayak, a dinghy or windsurfer.
The café offers a great selection of ice-cream and drinks and why not try your hand at the crazy gold course. For wildlife enthusiasts Swanpool Lake has over 100 species of bird! After all the excitement of the day it is lovely to come back and unwind in this cosy cottage. Beach 3 miles.
