The property is in the village of Cury, close to Mullion, in the beautiful Lizard Peninsula, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its abundance of wildlife and hedgerows unique to the area due to its mild climate. It is a 5-minute drive to the child-friendly, life-guarded beach at Poldhu Cove and, for those that bring their golf clubs, Mullion Golf Club. Why not pop into The Chocolate Factory in Mullion or explore the gift shops and galleries. For those that enjoy walking there is an abundance of coastal walks locally, taking in Church Cove & Dollar Cove Gunwalloe and Poldhu, Polurrian and Mullion Coves.
Other places to explore are Kynance Cove, Helford Creek, and the most southerly point of the country, Lizard Point, all within 6 miles of the property. Porthleven, 7 miles away, is a quaint working harbour surrounded by pubs, restaurants and cafés, children go crabbing off the harbour walls, it is becoming increasingly popular with kayaks and paddle boards as the slipway makes easy access into the water. There are lovely cliff walks to explore and plenty of places for has its own beach, sandy with pebbles. From Porthleven, the coast path to Gunwalloe stretches some 3 miles along sandy beaches southwest to Loe Bar and Church Cove. The property is located next to a working farm, so you see cows in the field and tractors coming and going. A public footpath is adjacent to the property. Having so much to see and do, one visit may not be enough. Beach 2½ miles.
