Standing peacefully in an elevated garden with superb open sea views, this pretty 14th-century split-level cottage has been imaginatively renovated. Set at the end of a row, it is just a short walk from the village with its captivating harbour and ancient cottages clinging to the hillside above fast-flowing water. Thomas Hardy met his wife here whilst restoring the church of St Juliot. Mystical Tintagel Castle 4 miles. Excellent swimming and surfing beach at Crackington Haven . Bodmin Moor 18 miles. Bude 15 miles. Riding locally. Shop ¼ mile, pub 25 yards.
Really comfortable cottage with lots of character, well equipped everything you could need. Handy for tourist locations such as Tintagel,St Issacs and Bude
A very enjoyable stay in a beautiful old traditional Cornish cottage. Nice to not have Wi-fi and 100s of TV channels. Handy to have the Nepoleon Inn a few doors down.

Quaintly furnished with Willow-Pattern crockery and 1950's style ornaments - a bit like visiting our grandparents place. Well-equipped kitchen, though the cooker was a little small. Plenty of cleaning gear everywhere. The ceramic floor tiles were a bit cold.
