Trewince Manor Cottage - Facilities

The beautiful Roseland Peninsula is the setting for this traditional Cornish cottage and an ideal place for guests to base themselves to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. An ideal family friendly location, the cottage is ideally situated near fantastic beaches, picturesque villages and all the natural beauty Cornwall has to offer.

The interior has many traditional features such as exposed beams and brick walls as well as other quirky features. With a country-style kitchen with a central farmhouse table for family meals and get togethers, a traditional Aga oven takes centre stage. There is also a normal cooker available to use. After a busy day the comfortable living room is an ideal place to relax with a Smart TV and rustic touches adding to the décor such as the traditional ornamental range. Next to the living room is a smaller snug room, which is ideal for relaxing with a good book or for perhaps the younger guests to relax in with another TV in case their entertainment requirements differ from the adults. Taking the stairs up from the snug leads you to the kingsize master bedroom and its en-suite shower room. The second staircase from the main living room takes you to a further two bedrooms, one with a standard double bed and the second, a twin room with its two singles. Both of these bedrooms also have their own en-suite shower rooms.

To the front of the house is a lawned garden with a patio and sea views to enjoy on the comfortable rattan furniture. There is also an enclosed courtyard next to the kitchen for outdoor dining. This property comes with use of the shared facilities including indoor swimming pool, spa pool, small gym with free weights and sauna on the nearby Trewince Holiday Lodge site, which is a short walk from the cottage. Also on site is an outdoor children’s play area and many countryside walks which take you through the countryside and close to the sea.
The cottage is sited opposite Trewince Holiday Lodges Estate and Trewince Manor Cottage guests have free use of the estates leisure facilities, which includes a heated indoor swimming pool, a private beach and a private woodland coastal walk on the estate. Guests can pre book or book on site to use the pool through the estate office opposite the cottage.

Nearby is the lovely village of Portscatho with its pubs and shops but you can also venture further afield to either St Mawes with it’s harbour and boat trips or take the King Harry Ferry from Philliegh to Trelissick and explore the city of Truro.
