This charming, dog-friendly, semi-detached Cornish holiday cottage has a homely feel and lies in the historic mining village of St Cleer, on the edge of Bodmin Moor. There are two living rooms, one with a multi-fuel burner, and two sitting-out areas, one to the rear and one to the front of the cottage. The village of St Cleer has a church, pub and convenience store, and the market town of Liskeard is a short drive away. With walks from the door, the cottage is ideally situated to explore the many delights of Bodmin Moor, unspoilt moorland at its best, including the famous tors and waterfalls. Also nearby are the Eden Project and Lanhydrock House . Within easy reach is the historic naval port and city of Plymouth, the coastal villages of Looe and Polperro and the quaint harbour town of Fowey. Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
the cottage was nice but somedays no place to park the car not really pet friendly as dog only allowed downstairs tv reception poor and no cupboards to store food lovely countryside walks should be stated in advertisement about where pets are allowed if i had known i would not have booked this cottage .
Clean, cosy cottage, located close to most attractions. We liked the shower and beds were comfortable. The biggest problem for us was not having a washing machine/ dryer costing us money and time at the laundrette. Lack of WiFi was also an inconvenience, but the phone signals were good. Freezer in the kitchen was not any use ( I am guessing it would be the case for most guests). Having more storage in the kitchen and the bedrooms would be also helpful. Overall we had a good holiday despite of bad weather, mainly due to the location of the cottage.
Nice little cottage, quiet area, parking a little awkward but that is down to the area/type of properties always managed to either get parked outside somewhere or round the corner on the main road though.
