In a quiet and peaceful setting with wonderful country views, this converted granite barn has its own garden and is only 1½ miles from the cliffside walk at Prussia Cove. Built on one floor close to the owner’s farmland, it is 3 miles from the National Trust’s most popular Cornish property – St Michael’s Mount at Marazion. Porthleven, 6 miles, has a fascinating old harbour and good pubs and restaurants. Penzance also 6 miles, is the area’s main shopping town. Riding locally. Excellent surfing at Praa Sands, 2½ miles. Shop and pub ½ mile.
A comfortable place to stay. Bus stop 15 mins. I highly recommend 'The Paddock'.
The Paddock is a clean, cosy and peaceful cottage in a brilliant place for exploring West Cornwall. Feels really rural but within 10 minutes of supermarkets, takeaways etc! Very welcoming and helpful owners, leaving lights on for our late arrival, milk in the fridge and a cream tea!
Lovely cottage. Bijou but beautiful Great position Lovely garden but needs to be more enclosed Seating uncomfortable And a bit chilly Otherwise lovely
Our stay January, 2020
The Paddock was a very convenient location to stay and provided access to both the Penzance and St Ives sides of the peninsula. An easy drive to Lands End and the Lizard. It had everything we needed and a TV that worked :-) which made such a difference. We made most of our meals there and found the kitchen was well equipped. Having the enclosed grass area was great for my dog and ensured safety from the road etc. The heating was set at just the right level so we didn't need to change it. Only slight negative was the bathrooms could have been cleaner, particularly the plug holes!! Thanks very much for a lovely stay.
