The Old Studio is a delightful character property with a private parking space. This well-presented holiday conversion adjoins the owner’s home and provides an idyllic for couples to relax in at any time of year, or alternatively, for families looking for the perfect summer retreat. It is also conveniently located for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall.
This large, sympathetically converted artist’s workspace has high ceilings and windows offering guests accommodation of immense character and style. This is a stunning property that has been restored to provide a lovely sense of light, space and tranquillity. It nestles in the very heart of the village, and is only minutes from the beautiful harbour and small sandy beach. The garden gate leads into the pretty and enclosed private patio, then through French doors into the conservatory and on into the split-level accommodation which is accessed down three steps into a large, open-plan living space.
Catch a daily boat trip to see the local sea life, or take a fishing trip. Mousehole is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday, with its pretty, winding streets full of busy little galleries, restaurants and shops and is just a short drive away from the delightful fishing harbour of Newlyn. Alternatively, why not visit the popular town of Penzance with its long promenade and open-air lido, or the historic town of Marazion with St Michaels Mount rising from the sea, as well as the long, glorious beach of Mounts Bay. Lands End, St Ives, The Minack Theatre and the famous surfing beach at Sennen Cove are all close by. Take a day trip over to the beautiful Isles of Scilly by boat from Penzance, or the sky bus from the nearby Land’s End airport. The beach is less than 200 yards. Shop, pub and good restaurants less than 300 yards.

Our stay August, 2019
The old Studio was in a perfect location 2 mins from everything in Mousehole. The living space was also lovely and v comfortable and the outside space gets the sun in the afternoon. Also a very handy parking space. Three gripes though if you want a lie in the noise from upstairs(people walking around) is quite loud early in the morning and sometimes late at night. There were only two wine glasses for an apartment that sleeps 5 and it was a bit dusty with a couple of light bulbs missing.

Very nice studio/apartment, split level, well appointed. Obviously Mousehole is a lovely location, property is about half way up the hill so to speak, only a minute or so walk to the harbour. Parking is available but great care is required manouvering into space in anything larger than a compact vehicle. A lovely open bright spacious property, would be more than happy to stay here again, although because there are so many beautiful places around Cornwall it may be a while before we stay here again, but will definately visit again when in the area. The owners were very approachable and pleasant and feel they would certainly sort any issue that may arise.
