These four holiday cottages, Sunrise and Sunny Skies, which stand detached, and Summer Breeze and Sunset, which are semi-detached, enjoy a perfect location for exploring all corners of Cornwall from Lands End in the west to Padstow on the north coast and Fowey, Looe and Polperro on the completely different south coast. The beautiful gardens provide a peaceful haven with summerhouse and children’s play area. The cottages lie just minutes from the south coast including the fishing village of Mevagissey and the seafaring town of Fowey with its royal regatta and Du Maurier Festival . Nearby are the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the amazing Eden Project. Visit Truro, the capital of Cornwall with its Gothic cathedral, surrounded by narrow streets and alleyways lined with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. St Austell Bay, just minutes away, has a stunning coastline which has pretty coastal towns and villages dotted along its edge. Charlestown is home to a collection of tall sailing ships, an historic harbour and Georgian architecture, all of which have been used as film and TV sets over many years. Porthpean has a lovely unspoilt beach, golf club and views across the bay. Visit Pentewan with picturesque cycle and walking trail along a river and through a 450-year-old woodland. Cycle hire is available from Easter onwards and there are several golf courses nearby. Fishing is also available locally. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub 1 mile.
Immaculate accommodation, lovely owners and Toby the loveliest dog you could wish to meet.
The best possible hosts, so welcoming. Lots of information available in the cottage regarding tide times, places to visit/eat etc. I found this particularly useful as I had my dog. A lovely welcome pack was left for my dog and Taina had bought me some soya milk as I had previously told her I did not eat dairy. Thoroughly recommend Sunset as a touring base. There is a pub within the distance specified in the details but it does mean walking on unlit lanes. I did this during the day which was fine but it would not be possible to do so for an evening meal.
Wonderful view through the french doors to the communal garden. Play field for the dog at the end of the drive. Everything you could need and central to all the wonders of Cornwall. Perfect hosts. Loved the experience. Would wholly recommend.
The most peaceful place we have stayed at on holiday .Was made to feel so welcome by Tania and Jon . Great location for Cornwall , love the wild life especially the two greedy squirrels. It was lovely to meet Toby ,bless him. Would definitely recommend staying there. Thank you .
Fantastic place, peaceful, beautifully kept and maintained. Well equipped and comfortable, and super dog friendly! Owners Tania and John are lovely people, with great knowledge of the local area and are always on hand if needed. Had a wonderful week at sunset cottage, and will definitely return.
This was our second visit to Little Crugwallins staying in a different cottage. Sunset is a fantastic property, beautifully clean and well equipped with everything you need, including the delicious cream tea on arrival ? The cottage has a lovely view over the lovely communal garden from the decking and it’s own private garden which our four legged family member enjoyed and more importantly could not escape from Jon and Tania are wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble A wonderful part of Cornwall and both coasts are within easy travelling distance We visited , Heligan, Charlestown , Looe and Mawgan Porth to name a few places we visited A fantastic location we would totally recommend ☺️
We enjoyed are stay at sunset cottage , it was very well aquiped with everything to make are stay very comfortable, fantastic for the dogs , beautiful grounds to walk the dogs , Jon and Tania were at hand anytime we needed them.
Had a lovely time in Sunset cottage. Had everything you needed. Enjoyed the Cream tea and milk, tea and coffee on arrival at the cottage. Overlooking the gardens was great. Heard a Tawny Owl in the evening. Also saw a greater spotted woodpecker and other garden birds. Great base to visit the area. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thanks to Tania & Jon.
This was the best accommodation we have every stayed in without a doubt. Tho owners Jon and Tania went out of their way with the cleanliness of the property and the surroundings. They both take such pride in the appearance of the area also. Our dog Luna had an amazing time - they even had toys in the field for the dog. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning.
