Port Isaac is one of a number of traditional villages to explore along this fantastic coastline including Boscastle and the dramatic cliffs at Crackington Haven. The golden sands at Polzeath or Daymer Bay are only a short drive away. There are also several smaller beaches accessible to the adventurous from the coastal path.
The cottage has been updated and re-equipped by the owner for the 2022 season. With two bedrooms and a reasonable sized living area/ kitchen/diner, this cottage offers very comfortable accommodation. A real bonus is the excellent rear patio deck and lawned garden. A very pleasant place to enjoy for young and old.
We are returning guests, returning year after year. The little bungalow is beautifully kept and clean, with a lovely enclosed garden for the dog.
Cottage in excellent location, cottage well equipped with everything you needed home from home. Cottage big enough for two adults and two dogs not sure how you would manage with 4 adults as the cottage is cosy , garden is large and secluded so no need to worry about the dogs getting out. Welcome pack was a bonus very thoughtful and the dogs even had treats waiting for them.
Well equipped , well maintained , comfortable, clean bright and Airy and very secure for our fur babies with a beautiful large well maintained back garden xx
Cosy cottage in quiet road super garden good for dogs or children. Port isaac is lovely place to stay and good location for visiting Padstow and surfing beaches.
We were troubled by the constant noise of builders. Also the coming and going with traffic up and down the road. At night it was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The water was hot. The bungalow was very well equipped. It was clean. For us it was small, but for2 people it was manageable. For 4 it would be a nightmare. We wouldn’t book again, only because it was too far to drive. That’s just us. If it was in Somerset we would book again. The secure garden was a bonus for a little dog.
Nice clean cosy cottage well equipped everything you would need quiet area lovely garden for the dog just found it a little small for 3 adults and 2 dogs but even so would visit again
Property far too small for us.
Great cottage in a great location. We had 2 adults and two teenagers - it was perfect for the teenagers to safely go for walks into port Isaac but with easy parking and in a good location to get about the lovely areas in North Cornwall. Great safe garden for our dog and everything you need. We will be back!
A wonderful, peaceful and enjoyable week. Sincere thanks to Anita! Top notch! We will recommend it to friends and family. We will be back too!
Excellent for the two of us plus the dog, parking was a bonus, garden great for the dog to stretch. Good location for exploring Cornwall local shop had essentials other shops in Wadebridge and Bodmin .
A perfect location for a gentle stroll down to the village or even to the nearby co-op. The cottage is clean and tidy with all the usual amenities, including a secure garden for those with dogs.
Had a lovely time thankyou
We stayed for a long weekend, 2 adults, 2 dogs. Lucky with the weather being February. Great there was enclosed garden for the dogs. The bungalow was very clean. And very well equipped. It was smaller than we expected. I personally would struggle if we had 2 extra adults here. If using as a base its fine. You can walk to the beach at Port Isaac, we didn't as one of my dogs is older.
Fantastic bungalo
Our stay December, 2019
Christmas at Suncroft was lovely - with our dog loving every moment - especially getting out in the brilliant garden, and an easy walk down to the harbour. The bungalow is “cosy” with front and back doors both off the living room, but we were able to use the second bedroom for a storage room. We would certainly consider this property again, perhaps in the summer when the back door could stay open most of the day.
