Occupying the lower ground floor, this one bedroomed holiday home is level with the garden, and has spectacular views across Port Isaac Bay. Guests have sole use of a large patio and extensive lawned garden - ideal for alfresco dining - where you can take in the views across the Atlantic and the cliff-lined coastline up to Tintagel Head. On the edge of this picturesque harbour village, made famous by the TV series ‘Doc Martin’ and just a few hundred yards from the coastal path, guests are ideally situated to visit the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer, including Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, Boscastle and further down the coast, the surfing beaches at Rock and Polzeath. Across the river from Rock is Padstow, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants including Rick Stein’s sea food restaurant. Beach ½ mile. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
Lovely location, there were a few comments on here about the steep hill but that didn’t bother us - the height is why you get such a wonderful view and it’s a nice walk into Port Isaac. The cottage is well equipped, although it’d have been useful to have been provided with more towels (one large towel each isn’t really sufficient for a week) and bin bags. The sofa is very comfortable, having been replaced since the photos on the website showing a rattan sofa I think. It is quiet and beautifully kept - would definitely come back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sea Vista. Cream tea on arrival was a real treat, the view from the property was stunning, the location was convenient for the local Co-op shop and for walking down to the village, and it was easy to get to many places from Boscastle to Padstow, and beyond. The property had everything we needed, and was very comfortable.
High quality appartment, fantastic views from window. Welcome scones and flowers were a nice touch. The appartment was equipped with everything we needed and was very warm.
