Truro, the capital of Cornwall, is easily reached and is a must to explore the narrow streets and enjoy the restaurants, shopping, museum, cinema and theatre for an alternative day or evening out. Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s food empire, is a must visit for all the family. Wander around the narrow streets that all lead to the working harbour and enjoy the ambiance provided by this traditional working fishing village. A flat walking and cycling trail links the town to Wadebridge and hugs the shoreline of the beautiful Camel Estuary all the way along this stunning trail. Bike hire is available at both ends. A top tip is to ride from Wadebridge to Padstow and enjoy fish and chips from Stein’s Chippy on the harbour before the ride home. Creally Adventure Park and Lappa Valley Steam Railway are nearby.
