The wonderfully named Kit’s Korner is a superbly maintained holiday home, settled quietly within Honicombe Manor, a holiday resort on the grounds of the original property estate and within the beautiful Tamar Valley, an Area Of National Beauty.

Upon entering the property, you will find an inviting open plan living space with pine décor, a subtle reminder of the woodland setting of the park. Recently refurbished throughout, there are twin sofas, great for relaxing after a busy day out and about, a 30-inch TV with Freeview, WiFi and Blu-Ray DVD player. The adjoining kitchen and dining area is smartly presented, with a bright and airy feel.

Useful information boards adorn the wall in the passageway leading to the bedrooms, offering lots of options on days out and where to venture to tomorrow! There are three bedrooms, all offering the ideal place to recharge after a day of exploring and a peaceful rest. Bedroom one has a double bed, with TV, whilst there are two further twin rooms with single beds. The family bathroom is spacious and boasts a bath with excellent electric shower over, and heated towel rail.

Outside, a lovely spot for morning coffee has a picnic-style table. The park has a shop at the reception, offering a convenient range of goods, whilst there is a bar and restaurant too. Further afield, there are some excellent pubs and restaurants, offering a great range of culinary delights and an array of local beverages. The beaches on the stunning south coast offer coves and inlets and cliff top vistas, whilst the breath-taking and atmospheric Bodmin Moor are a joy to behold. From the quaint railway station at Gunnislake, take a memorable journey with spectacular scenic views to the historic naval city of Plymouth, or perhaps visit the ancient harbour town of Looe, with its narrow streets and working fishing fleet or picturesque Polperro, steeped in tales of smuggling and shipwrecks from long, long ago.
