This 18th-century fisherman’s cottage enjoys excellent views of the sea and the pretty harbour of Polperro – a picturesque fishing village famous for its smuggling connections. Boasting a sunny, south-facing terraced garden, this beautifully furnished cottage is ideally placed for a traditional seaside holiday. Within yards are antique and curio shops, inns, restaurants, and tearooms. Tidal beach, National Trust coastal path, fishing, and boat trips a short walk. Local riding and golf. Eden Project 30 minutes’ drive. Looe 5 miles. Shops 100 yards.
Fantastic old cottage in the heart of the village. Great pubs and restaurants a very short walk away. Costal path right on your doorstep literally! Downside is the car is parked a 10 minute walk up the hill out of the village but a good compromise to be in a virtually car free location. Fantastic harbour views.
Very good location with excellent views of Polperro harbour. Cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Great cottage cannot recommend it enough, look forward to going again. Very clean and a lot of thought has gone into fitting it out for visitors ?
A comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. Location is fantastic as is the view on the harbor / sea from the window seat and main bedroom. The village has a good selection of restaurants and stores. I wish we could have stayed longer!
The 2nd time we have been to the cottage which has everything you need from dishwasher to potatoe peeler. The owner shows great care in the cottage as this time new wooden flooring, new mattresses, 're wired and internal painted. I know at present they are replanning the garden. The cottage as a great location minutes from the harbour and great views from the lounge of the harbour. Bedroom 2 is a double however very tight but remember it is a cottage.
Our stay September, 2019
We had a very good week here, in this pretty village. It is right down in the village near the harbour, down steep and narrow picturesque lanes.
