From this holiday property and garden, you feel as though you could dip your finger into the crystal clear waters of St Austell Bay. There is a sun porch within the property that boasts spectacular views towards the sea and harbour. This former coastguard cottage above the harbour is perfect for whiling away the hours in this stunning village, a World Heritage Site and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village of Charlestown, so named after the landowner that built the village, is home to its very own tall ships, and is often used as a film and TV set due to its traditional buildings and old world charm. There is also a shipwreck museum with Titanic relics. There are many cafés and bars, local pubs and bistros selling local food and drink, and many pavement cafés around the harbour area. Cliff walks, deep sea fishing, cycling and golf can all be found nearby. The area surrounding the village has many National Trust and private gardens, and tourist attractions for all. The sea faring town of Fowey, with its Royal Regatta and literary festival, is easily reached. The Eden Project, so close you could cycle there, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the stunning Pine Lodge gardens are all close to Harbour Watch. Beach 30 yards. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Great place to relax and fantastic views
Brilliant cottage, superb view. Can’t fault cottage. Second stay there and my daughter and son-in-law have also stayed several times. Comfort and equipment would have had a ten but the garden benches were a bit rickety and it would also been nice to have some other chairs to take to end of garden in the late afternoon .
Stunning!!! ? Our 2nd visit and it won't be our last.
Lovely clean and comfy cottage with amazing views. No problems with cottage at all. Welcome pack when we arrived. Great place to stay. Pebble beach nearby but dogs not allowed , had to drive to Par sands for a dog to have a run.
Comfortable, well-equipped, clean cottage with the most breathtaking views.
This cottage is lovely, a real home from home. Fantastic views, cosy and comfy for those not so sunny warm days and the log burner just adds to the ambience. Most definitely worth a visit.
Our stay October, 2019
The views were outstanding we could not stop looking out the windows. Chester the BT dog enjoyed the beach, sea and patio. I want to go again x
