A charmingly converted old holiday cottage overlooking a tidal creek of the River Fowey in South Cornwall. Florin Cottage is in a good walking area with many walks direct from the door. Lerryn is a friendly, picture-book village with excellent shop/P. O. and a pub just steps away, serving lunches and dinners. The popular coastal fishing villages of Polperro and Looe are within a half hour’s drive. Ideally situated for visiting the Eden Project and many other interesting places – an excellent touring base for those who do not want to just sit and enjoy the peace of Lerryn! Shop 30 yards.

Excellent base for exploring North Cornwall. Only downsides were fridge which was inadequate due to missing/broken door shelving and only one shelf in main compartment. Also, all PAT test stickers showing on electrical equipment (which was good) but all 14 months out of date (which was not!). Would stay there again though

We had an excellent holiday at Florin cottage. The village is lovely and an excellent base for exploring Cornwall. The cottage is extremely well equipped which was a lovely surprise as with other cottages we have rented you had to take your own condiments etc. The caretaker gave us some very helpful tips for places to explore and we arrived to home made scones jam and cream. Highly recommend for families.
