This semi-detached holiday cottage, attached to the owners’ home and accessed by an unmade lane, is nestled deep within pretty Cornish countryside, minutes from the beaches of Perranporth and Holywell Bay. There are golf courses, cycle hire and surf lessons all with easy reach. Truro is a short drive and well worth a visit. St Ives, Falmouth, Newquay and Lands End are easily accessible. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
This was our 3rd visit to Dover Row. As previous, the cottage was excellent and met all our needs. We are a family of 5 and love returning here for the lovely peaceful location and it is a pleasure coming back to the cottage after a day on the beautiful beaches nearby or visiting local towns or attractions which there is plenty of. The owners are friendly and we enjoyed the lovely cream scones which were left for us on arrival. We had another fantastic holiday and we are looking forward to returning again in the future.
A lovely cottage that had everything that we needed for a family of six. The owners have thought of everything and made our stay very welcoming. Would highly recommend to those that want to visit the beautiful sites of Cornwall. X
We had an excellent stay at Dover Row. The cottage itself is exceptionally well kept, and looked after by its owners. We had everything we needed, and had a comfortable stay. Our only gripe was that the cottage is very remote. As runners, there wasn’t a path within miles of the property, which meant we had to drive every time we left, for both running and daily activities. We also had very young children with us and where constantly on edge for breakages and spills (given its exceptionally clean interior). We are unlikely to return because of this, but would certainly recommend this cottage to families with older children, an those who enjoy a remote setting.
Fantastic cottage. Clean and well equipped with all our needs. Could not ask for more.
Absolutely stunning cottage , welcomed with a cream tea , perfect
We stayed as a family of four, and we found this to be a very nice cottage. It’s in a quiet, country setting and good location, offering easy travel to lots of local attractions and beaches. The owners live next door and were friendly and un-intrusive. We would definitely recommend.
Lovely picturesque cottage surrounded by fields, wildlife, dairy cows etc.Great location to be able to explore both North and South Cornwall coasts.Hosts live next door so smashing for local advice, places to eat etc but wouldn't have known they were there if we didn't need them, just let us get on with enjoying our holiday. The cottage is very well spec'd with everything and more you would need to enjoy the cottage, particularly the kitchen and also some really useful bits and pieces to help enjoy ourselves at the many wonderful beaches nearby(nice touch, meant we had things to do to keep ourselves entertained).Lovely welcome by hosts with authentic cream tea, eggs etc to get us settled.Played table tennis every evening in the summer house in the garden which was great and able to make as much noise as we wanted as there aren't any neighbours nearby to annoy..great place, great hosts, great location.
What a beautiful cottage! It’s filled with character and a lovely modern touch. It really has everything you could possibly need for your holiday. No expense was spared when the cottage was furnished. It really is stunning. Pete is such a lovely man, very welcoming. The cream tea on arrival was a nice touch. We will definitely be coming back to stay again. We’ve recommended Dover Row to friends and family, my mum is gonna book her next trip there.
