Cundurrow Cottage makes the perfect base from which to explore all that south Cornwall has to offer. The cottage provides comfortable and cosy accommodation with a good-sized kitchen, and a beamed living room and a dining room with warming wood burners. French doors lead from the living room out onto a large, enclosed garden, backing onto fields, making the perfect place to unwind in after a day’s exploring. Opposite the cottage is a working farm, where children and visitors will be welcome to meet the animals and see the cows being milked . Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
Very pretty cottage in a beautiful location our only disappointment was the many unexpected intrusions by various workmen - the gardener, the window cleaner, men repairing the garden wall and the owner popping in unannounced. In themselves not a great problem but it would have been nice to be asked as the privacy of our holiday was broken in to. Plus not knowing when the dogs could be out in the garden.
Lovely holiday. Super cottage
My daughter and I enjoyed a relaxing week at Condurrow Cottage with our two dogs. The cottage is one of the best we’ve stayed in - very well equipped and spotlessly clean, with plenty of space and charming features. The garden is large and enclosed so we didn’t have to worry about our dogs. The welcome tea and cake was much appreciated after our journey and Jane was the perfect host, letting us know she was available if needed but not intrusive. The bed linens were of superb quality and the cottage was very cosy despite the typical winter weather. The kitchen in particular is well equipped. The location is rural and peaceful, and Helston has all the facilities you’d need. Several local pubs offer excellent food but a particular highlight was the fish and chip van on Tuesday evening in Manaccan! Thanks Jane for sharing your beautiful cottage.
Our stay August, 2019
Condurrow cottage was a home from home, clean, comfortable and beautiful gardens to relax in. Lovely walks for both of our large dogs who loved st anthony’s which is just a 10 minute walk.
