Fantastic cottage. Never stayed anywhere that’s so well equipped. So comfortable and such a lovely welcome hamper from the owners. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Yes, it is isolated but that’s just what we wanted.
Has everything and more than you need for a holiday cottage even wecolme basket with home made scones. Hosts very accomodating, rooms very homey, all fab. Only comment is that would have liked to have known it was so far down tiny tracks as would have bought a different car so didn't keep catching the bottom. Thank you we had a lovely weekend
Wow, What an amazing cottage. From the warm welcome and wonderful hamper to the cosy wood burning fire we couldn’t fault it at all. Set in a lovely secluded setting it was idyllic to just switch off and relax. We will definitely be returning.
A very attractive cottage with some excellent fittings in a quiet part of the county. We both enjoyed our week as did Leo the dog!
The cottage was fantastic, all amenities were supplied. It was very comfortable and cosy. The welcome pack was amazing. The owners were friendly and helpful. The only downsize was the lane to and from the cottage (with no passing places) making it a little difficult when "meeting" something (as one had to reverse quite a long way).
Location was not ideal. The property is quite remote and approached along very narrow lanes without adequate passing places. Nearest supermarket is quite a distance away. The property was modern, comfortable and well equipped although lighting in the lounge area was a little low for reading. Car parking space was adequate though a little tricky to manoeuvre for two cars.
A fantastic cottage, hidden away in the Cornish countryside. Really close to some beautiful beaches. The cottage itself is tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need or want. Every little detail has been meticulously thought out. Perhaps the best thing of all though was the welcome basket, containing all the essentials plus some luxury items and some homemade treats too! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning quiet location. Not an awful lot around to do so need to travel 20-30mins to a good beach or Plymouth Barbican. The cottage is fantastic with lots and lots of space. Very open and airy and furnished to a high standard. Lots of well thought out finishing touches and some unexpected treats in the cupboards and fridge for us and also some for our puppy. If I had to find one criticism it would be that the people that owned the cottage lived in another cottage looking into our cottage so we felt a bit overlooked and maybe under the watchful eye of the owners. However the are a lovely welcoming couple and nothing was to much trouble for them. All in all a fantastic family holiday for family of 6 and a mischievous pup!!
A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Highly recommended. Already thinking about making a return visit. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful holiday home in a peaceful location. Sue and Robbie had thought of everything! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to return!
We spent our honeymoon at Cider Press Cottage and it was amazing! Great location, fantastic cottage and lovely owners. Couldn’t ask for more!
The property was wonderful, incredibly well equipped and the owners were delightful. They provided the most amazing welcome we have ever had: a hamper full of all sorts of Cornish delights including homemade scones and jam and local cider. Even the dogs were given towels, bowls and dog treats! The area is a hidden gem with plenty of wonderful walks, lovely scenery and lovely pubs and restaurants.
