Swallows Rest sits in a quiet hamlet in a peaceful and tranquil setting, and is surrounded by rolling countryside and birdsong. This single storey detached barn conversion is approached by six stone steps and the accommodation is on the first floor. It sits over the original stables with glorious views over the garden and countryside. The owners live on-site in the farmhouse, along with the free-roaming chickens who wander about the grounds and horses and ponies. It is the ideal location for couples seeking a quiet haven to relax all year round.

The area provides the backdrop for the current BBC Poldark TV series. Beach 6 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
A fabulous week at Barn Cottage. Brilliantly situated in the heart of Penwith within a short drive of amenities plus beaches, walks etc yet beautifully isolated on a small farm away from any noise or disturbance. Owners live next door and couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming as well as having the most friendly animals! Would thoroughly recommend Barn Cottage to anyone looking for a cosy cottage in a quiet, secluded position in this beautiful, unspoilt part of Cornwall.
What a beautiful cottage. We booked for 12 nights and could have stayed there forever. The owners were on hand if we needed anything and were very friendly. The cottage was clean, warm and well equipped we couldn't have asked for more. The cottage was well positioned so we could travel to all our favourite places. Woul definitely recommend Barn cottage to others. Compliments to Graham and Claire the owners for presenting such a lovely cottage.

Great location for seeing local area. The cottage was lovely and well equipped, although we could have used a hair dryer! We will definitely be happy to stay there again in the future.
