This single-storey lodge is great for people of all ages and abilities. It is located on a quiet complex of similar lodges on the outskirts of Liskeard, close to Bodmin Moor. It has a modern interior and is well furnished. The double sleeper bunk bed makes a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit couples or those with children.
For the outdoor types there is walking close by on Bodmin Moor, including Minions, the highest village in Cornwall, The Hurlers stone circle and the Cheesewring natural rock formations. Also, worth a visit are Sterts Theatre and Arts Centre, and the famous Carnglaze Caverns. There is horse riding nearby and golf courses within 20 miles, including the Jack Nicklaus course at St Mellion. There is also a sports and leisure centre with swimming pool, squash, indoor bowling, badminton and fitness suite, 5 miles away.
Nearby Siblyback Lake offers windsurfing, dinghy sailing, canoeing and fishing, and a lovely circular lakeside walk. Beach 12 miles. Shop 1 mile away. Many pubs and restaurants in the local area.
