In peaceful seclusion near the River Lynher, this pretty detached cottage has been renovated to a good standard, retaining its original clome oven, and much charm. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodland, with many wonderful walks, it lies within easy reach of the coast and moors. Fishing is available, and Sibleyback Lake offers windsurfing, dinghy sailing and canoeing. Picturesque Looe and Polperro are about 16 miles, with a selection of quaint shops, restaurants and pubs. Many National Trust properties to visit within a short drive. St Mellion golf club, 5 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 3 miles.

We loved the little cottage. So warm and cosy. Flo our dog loved it and felt right at home. Very dog friendly hosts, which instantly makes you feel relaxed and welcome. We had the most relaxing time.

Loved every minute of this holiday, its the perfect place to escape to for peace and relaxation. Amenities are close enough to drive or for the more hardy to walk to, Callington at just over 3 miles or Pensilva at 2 miles. Alison is the perfect host you always arrive to a cream tea and a warm welcome, Buster the dog is an absolute delight with his warm welcome. If ever stuck for a place to go or visit, ask your hosts as have a whole list of places to visit off the beaten track, or touristy if that's what you want. Would recommend this holiday let to everyone and there pets. Looking forward to our next stay.

We had a fabulous holiday in the cottage. Was extremely well equipped. Cottage was very warm and had a lovely log burner. Everything was fresh and clean.The rural setting is fantastic with all amenities within 10mins drive. The garden was totally secure for my dog, plus you can walk down to the river and around a field which all belongs to the owners. My dog was made extremely welcome by the owner, as were we. She had plenty of advise of places to visit and when. If you want a beautiful cottage in amazing tranquil setting where your dogs are truly welcomed..... you only have to look all the photo albums in the cottages which are just of all the dogs who have visited over the years...... then this cottage is for you!

Lovely comfy cottage and surroundings. Owners lovely and friendly. Cottage has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We would highly recommend it. Have been here three times and already booked up for next year already

Beautiful cottage in a rural location ... river and field for the dogs plus the very secure garden. Good river for fishing. The cottage was warm and full of character. The owners were charming and made us feel very welcome. Perfect for the two of us and our dogs. We will return!

What a beautiful cottage in such a stunning surrounding. Had such a lovely relaxing long weekend at Quarryman’s Cottage. The Cottage is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. The garden was perfect for the dog as it was completely secure so everyone was happy. The weather was amazing so we spent our time relaxing in the garden and walking the dog by the river which is a short walk away. If you want to escape from hustle and bustle this is the perfect place. Would definitely recommend.

Great large dog proof garden. No internet so really great if you want to get away from it all, as we did. Great hosts lots of dog walks, pubs and shops within easy distance.

The perfect cottage for going away with dogs. We were made to feel so welcome by the lovely hosts and their gorgeous little friendly dog. Our dogs absolutely loved staying here as much as we did. The cottage itself is beautiful, warm and cosy and is surrounded by a beautiful, natural setting. So quiet and peaceful, a great place to stay
