Had a great week in a very well looked after home, very well equipped clean and spacious. Beds were soft for our liking but only because we both have bad backs and are used to a firm mattress. (Our problem not the owners).
A welcoming, clean and very well equipped cottage. Ideally placed to explore and very close to some excellent beaches. The owner was helpful but not intrusive. Perfect spot for a nice quiet holiday.
Lovely home from home in a peaceful location, a great place to return to after exploring the glorious Cornish coast. The welcome hamper was a fantastic surprise after a long journey down.
Great holiday cottage located close to everything we needed yet far enough away to enjoy a relaxing weeks holiday. local hotel 10 mins walk away serving good food and has a public bar. we walked into port Issac across the fields (some of which had cattle in then but they seemed quite safe) in around 20 mins.
Very comfortable cottage and great welcome pack helped make this an enjoyable holiday despite changeable weather. The owners thought of everything to make it a home from home.
Outstanding property, probably the best we have rented for a holiday in the last five years. Nice welcome pack.....was very useful on first day. Plenty of well marked walks that start just a few yards from the front door. Can easily travel to both the north and south Cornish coasts to take advantage of the best weather available on any particular day. Modern property, very clean with exceptionally comfortable beds!
This was a wonderful property. Every detail has been thought of by Steve and Julia. From the very welcome hamper when we arrived to every comfort in the house. Would certainly recommend to anyone. Will certainly book again.
A fabulous cottage, modern, clean and homely. Everything has been thought of to make your stay more comfortable. A great location, making it easy to visit both north and south sites in Cornwall.
What a lovely cottage, the decor is gorgeous, with attention to detail at every turn. Including an amazing welcome pack. Gorgeous cup cakes , scones and ample food in the fridge to make an excellent start to our holiday. Julie and Steve have been on hand, willing to help. They have thought of everything and spared nothing to give us all the comfort we could need.We have been truly happy here; a perfect holiday home from home.
Our stay February, 2020
From the outset, we knew that we had found the perfect place to stay and create new memories. It truly is a home away from home. On arrival, everything stood out from the cleanliness and homeliness to the interior design and the contents. The owners, Julia and Steve, have thought of everything to ensure a comfortable and perfect break. The arrival hamper was the icing on the cake and such a thoughtful idea. It was greatly appreciated after the long journey down. The hamper contained freshly made cupcakes; scones with jam and clotted cream; and essentials such as bread, milk, butter, eggs and bacon. This special property contained everything you could possibly need to enjoy a self catering break. The location was perfect for us. The peace and tranquility of Trelights was ideal, with several areas and attractions within close range such as Port Isaac, Wadebridge, Padstow, Polzeath, Tintagel, Boscastle and Newquay. We really did not want to come home, despite the terrible weather. We loved it so much that we have already booked to stay again in April. Thank you again, Julia and Steve. We cannot wait to return as we have found our new special place.
