Our stay July, 2019
This cottage provided a very good base to us as we were walking the adjacent stretch of the south-west coastal path. We had two dogs and had to pay £25 per dog for them to stay which seemed quite a lot, although I do appreciate the very nice grounds, a beautiful mowed lawn that I had to exercise them on. My only criticism of the cottage is that it was very small and there was very little floorspace in any of the rooms in particular the bedrooms. The cottage is in a courtyard with other customers and one of the other set of guests were very noisy and woke us shouting bizarrely at 4 am one morning which was unfortunate to say the least. It would’ve been nice if the owners had come to introduce themselves in the course of the week as they said they would when I met the gentleman very briefly on my arrival.
