The golden sands of Carbis Bay are nearby next to the award winning Carbis Bay Hotel. Alternatively there are many beaches in St Ives or you can swim or surf on the three mile Gwithian beach which extends from Hayle to Godrevy. The south coast is within easy reach where there are plenty of leisure activities like boating, canoeing, fishing and paddle boarding around the many harbours and coves. Local transport includes buses and a train into St Ives and a mainline station in St Erth. Shop ½ mile, pub 1 mile.
