Eagles Nest is a lovely lodge-style, detached property set on a private estate of just twenty lodges within a 30-acre woodland valley. The estate adjoins the fairways of the St Mellion Golf and Country Club and the famous Jack Nicklaus Golf Course, one of the finest golf courses in Europe. This Scandanavian-style lodge has open plan living accommodation with balconies on both sides, and a large decked terrace leading off the kitchen. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom or shower, making sharing with friends very accommodating.
Eagles Nest is a perfect holiday base for families, friends or couples wishing to take either an extended break or a few days away at any time of the year. The property is tucked away in a quiet, rural area just outside the village of St Mellion and makes a great location for exploring the wider region of Cornwall. St Mellion itself is almost midway between the north and south coasts in the Tamar Valley area. Beach 13 miles. Shop and pub/restaurant 3 miles.

Our stay July, 2019
Very nice accommodation. Very clean. Layout with bedrooms on ground floor enabled the views to be appreciated by all from the reception rooms upstairs. Children enjoyed the wildlife coming out of the forest to look for food around the cottages. Would have liked to have taken my parents with us too as they would have loved enjoying the view over the golf course with their grand children.

Lovely location and really nice house, bathrooms and bedrooms were excellent but were smaller than they looked on website.we did feel the cooker wasn’t the best and we did have a leak in the kitchen which was dealt with the same day

This is a lovely lodge, with all home comforts and equipment needed for a really comfortable holiday. The settings is good if you are looking for a very quiet peaceful holiday. For us personally it was just a little too far off the beaten track. But, saying that, we would possibly return as we had an enjoyable time there. I would recommend this lodge for all of the comforts provided there and the setting if you love nature.
